Lio is there for every smoker who wants to quit, with no chemicals, no nicotine, and thus a great alternative. Currently, Lio is available in the Netherlands, Belgium, England, and Germany, and they plan to expand to more countries.

Lio saw opportunities in email marketing and got in touch with us. Naturally, we were eager to contribute to this wonderful mission!

Lio handled the email marketing themselves. There was only one flow in place, and occasionally a campaign would be sent out.

We placed a pop-up on the website where you could sign up to receive a mystery discount. We achieved a 14% sign-up rate, which is an exceptional result considering the benchmark is around 5%. This result allowed us to grow the email list rapidly. As a result, we can send emails to a larger audience, enabling us to retarget more people.

We also improved the customer journey by sending emails after the purchase, such as handy tips for quitting smoking or blogs that contain a lot of information about quitting smoking. In this way, we encourage customers to use Lio instead of falling back into bad habits.

The email marketing is currently carried out in multiple languages, making it more effective to reach the customer. In the future, more languages will be added, and we will also implement this within the email marketing.
